These pants took me months to create, not because I couldn’t have gotten them done sooner, but because they are a culmination of patches and tshirt/sweatshirt cuttings I have been collecting since the very first launch of Eat Vinti in 2019 when we were Feed The Soul Vintage. The patches on these pants have come from thrift and vintage items found across the USA from LA to Atlanta to NYC. The patches chosen highlight our icons, festivals, drip, the softness of our women, the ruggedness of our cities and the hard ways we are made to show up about ourselves and our families. The Red stitching on the patchwork is a symbol of all the ways that Black American voices are silenced in the US, be it the new jim crow prison industrial complex, redlining and voter suppression, predatory lending and renting practices, exclusions from the work place and educational settings. These pants are a true culmination of the complete makeup of some of my personal experiences in entrepreneurship thus far and I am so happy to be letting you guys shop this item. These pants are one of one and are made for the pro blackity black black individual fighting the good fight. These pants are a unisex item and can be purchased and worn by either a man or a woman.
